What distance can I cover with a standard cable, using the Jai M1?

This depensts on the mode of operation you have chosen for the camera. In free running mode (also called PLL mode) it should be no problem to cover 25 and more meters (although you will surely notice that with increasing cable length the image quality decays...).

| If however you are using the Pixelclock signal (which is a high frequency TTL signal at about 20 MHz), then your cable length is limited to about 10 m (with longer cables you may easily attenuate the signal so much that it does not meet TTL specifications any longer when it arrives at the Frame Grabber). |
