Common Vision Blox in Taiwan

General

Common Vision Blox was successfully presented by our Taiwanese partner Nevis Technology Corp. at the 2010 Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition that took place August 4-7, 2010.

Two demos based on Common Vision Blox attracted many visitors. One demo showed a gauging application, where a screw pitch had to be measured. There was a mirror rotating on bottom of the lens so that the image was rotating 360 degree. CVB ShapeFinder was used to detect the direction of the screw and the Edge tool was used to gauge the pitch.

In the second demo the "Nevis Logo" had to be found on a rotating wheel. 6 logos, some of them damaged, where put on the wheel. No illumination at all was used. This shows how robust CVB ShapeFinder is.
