CVB 2016 CameraSuite for USB3 Vision cameras

1 Oct 2015

CVB 2016 CameraSuite, the latest version of STEMMER IMAGING’s high-performance and easy-to-install development environment for machine vision applications based on Common Vision Blox, is released. The SDK is now also supporting USB3 Vision cameras.

The new CameraSuite version is based on optimised drivers and ensures optimum performance in use by minimising the processor load. The proven memory management concept with ring buffers has been retained together with the option of providing flexible access to the acquired images, in order to utilise custom algorithms. In addition to GigE Vision, the USB3 Vision standard is now implemented in CVB 2016 CameraSuite, ensuring that CVB remains completely hardware independent.

When using CVB CameraSuite under Windows, the user has access to an optimised DirectX display and flicker-free non-destructive overlays. The software supports various file formats and contains a large number of example programs in source code, facilitating the development of the user's own applications. Simple interactive camera parameterisation can be made via a management console for basic configuration and a flexible decision tree for optimum support of user-specific applications.

The new Software Development Kit for all operating systems is included free of charge in the delivery of all cameras that are purchased from STEMMER IMAGING and meet the GigE Vision or USB3 Vision standard. Licensing is provided via the camera’s MAC address for GigE Vision cameras and serial number plus vendor ID for USB3 Vision cameras.
